This one-of-a-kind Heirloom Weight ring features a large piece of genuine No. 8 Turquoise, showcasing a soft blue-green color with natural earthy matrix running throughout the stone. The shape of the cabochon gives the ring a bold elongated profile while still letting the turquoise remain the centerpiece.

I built the entire setting by hand in sterling silver, surrounding the stone with a mix of handmade floral and leaf details, sterling silver bead accents, and textured borders. The layered silverwork gives the ring a botanical Western feel without overpowering the natural character of the turquoise.

Oxidation has been added throughout the recessed areas to bring out the texture and definition of the flowers, leaves, and borders, while the raised silver has been polished to create contrast.

The ring is finished with a substantial double sterling silver band, complete with an additional floral accent at the back. This gives the piece both stability and a finished look from every angle.

It is a larger, substantial ring with the weight and craftsmanship that place it firmly in my Heirloom Weight Collection.
