A true statement piece from start to finish, this Josephinite necklace is completely handmade in sterling silver, including the chain.
The focal point is a long rectangular Josephinite stone with deep, moody coloring and naturally occurring metallic-looking flashes that shift as the light moves across the surface. The darker stone gives the necklace an earthy, dramatic feel that pairs beautifully with oxidized sterling silver.
The stone is framed in a substantial sterling silver setting with a beaded border and finished with handmade floral and leaf accents that soften the bold rectangular shape and give the piece its Western botanical character.
The back of the pendant is hand stamped and finished with my LW maker’s mark and .925 stamp, making the reverse of the piece just as intentional as the front.
The necklace is completed with a 19-inch handmade sterling silver chain, built link by link at my bench. The elongated links give the piece plenty of presence while keeping the overall design balanced and wearable.
This is a substantial Heirloom Weight necklace designed to feel like a piece that can be worn, loved, and eventually passed down.
